1. Nature of Service

FosterFund provides technology and communication services to facilitate introductions between individuals who wish to foster dogs and rescue organizations that have dogs available for foster placement. FosterFund's role ends at the point of introduction. We are not involved in, and assume no responsibility for, any aspect of the fostering relationship that follows.

2. No Liability for Animal-Related Incidents

FosterFund expressly disclaims all liability for any injury, illness, death, or property damage caused by or to any dog placed through our platform, including but not limited to:

• Dog bites, scratches, or other physical injuries to any person or animal
• Damage to property inside or outside the foster home
• Illness or disease transmission between foster dogs and existing pets or people
• Death of a foster dog or existing pet during the foster period
• Veterinary costs or medical expenses arising from fostering
• Psychological or emotional harm resulting from any fostering experience

3. No Liability for Rescue Organization Conduct

FosterFund does not vet, certify, license, supervise, or endorse any rescue organization listed or matched through our platform. We are not responsible for:

• The accuracy of information provided by a rescue organization about any dog
• A rescue organization's failure to disclose behavioral history, medical conditions, or other relevant information
• Breach of any agreement between you and a rescue organization
• The conduct, omissions, or negligence of any rescue organization or its representatives

4. No Liability for Foster Parent Conduct

FosterFund is not responsible for the actions or omissions of any foster parent, including any harm caused by a foster parent to a dog, other people, or property during the fostering period.

5. Assumption of Risk

By using the FosterFund platform and entering into a fostering arrangement, you expressly acknowledge and accept that:

• Fostering animals involves inherent risks that cannot be fully anticipated or eliminated
• Dogs may have unknown behavioral or medical histories
• You voluntarily assume all risks associated with fostering, including physical, financial, and emotional risks
• FosterFund has not made any representation or warranty about any specific dog or rescue organization

6. Application Waiver Requirement

Before submitting a foster application through FosterFund, all applicants are required to read and affirmatively agree to a liability waiver. This waiver confirms that you understand FosterFund's limited role, that you assume all risk associated with fostering, and that you release FosterFund from any and all claims arising from your participation in the fostering process. Submission of an application constitutes your binding agreement to the waiver.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FosterFund and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents from any claim, demand, lawsuit, or expense — including reasonable attorneys' fees — arising from your participation in fostering activities facilitated through our platform.
